Student Work

At the Institute of Advanced Media , we keep our eye on the 'industry', to ensure that our students have the skills and experience necessary to help business and organizations stay relevant and strong within the evolving internet culture.

To achieve this, students are partnered, in each term with a real business or organization that is seeking a web presence or need to upgrade an outdated site.

In Term IV, students advance to an opportunity to realize and create a unique and marketable web business. Utilizing their acquired skills in design, development and programming, they will research, plan and execute a new internet enterprise with e-commerce applications.

In Terms I,II, and III, students create a entire website from scratch within time restraints of one day. These are the 4 – 8 projects. This allows the students to focus on their skill sets and time management skills often with surprising results.
